Virginia Weekend
Had a pleasant weekend trip to Virginia. The cabin on the lake was SO cute and just a short walk down to the water's edge. We also strolled the streets of Clarksville, including the cemetary (pic of a grave with the tree growing around it) What can I say, we love history, seeing all the old tombstones and the military markers.....

Great photos! Looks like a layout waiting to happen. I don't think it's weird at all that you guys like to walk through old cemeteries. I think they are interesting places to visit... See all the really old tombstones & try to figure out their story. Anyway, glad you guys were able to have a good time & relax a little.
Hey Lori...those tombstones are cool...I sometimes do rubbings...so no that you take a walk through history isn't strange at all...there's some really really cool graveyards and cemeteries in Charleston SC.
That cabin looks adorable..and right by the water I bet that was so relaxing..how far from he church was the cabin?
Just saying hi, love the pic of the town too. So glad the weather coorperated and you are home safe.
Lori it looks like a great place. I love going through old cemeteries. Hvae good thoughts going your way.
those photos are amazing! so glad your trip was enjoyable and that DH did so well. I know what you mean about old cemeteries! If/when you come back, if you go to Williamsburg, I love the one at Bruton Parish church... graves from the 1600s & 1700s!
I sent you an email too... but check out the questions on my blog... I'm inviting you to answer them too!
Glad you two had a good trip. The photos are great. I recognize the 2nd one - been down that street although it's been a few years. :)
I also enjoy walking through cemeteries. Like Monica, I always wonder about their stories.
